About the Podcast

The Loss Tapes
Guvna B talks to guests about their experience of grief and bereavement, and how they're dealing with losing someone or something they loved.
On the 18th of July 2017, my Dad passed away quite suddenly. It was very unexpected and I've come to realise that I wasn't very well equipped to deal with loss.

I'm still on the journey of processing my grief, but one thing that's been really helpful is talking to people. I didn't quite know this, but most of us have lost someone or something that we love. It might be a person, a career, a dream, a prized possession, or something else.

On this podcast I talk to people about their experience of loss because maybe someone might hear the conversation, and be able to relate to it. It might not make the pain go away, but it's pretty cool to know we're not alone.

He is passionate about youth culture and helping people process their grief and trauma. He recently started 'The Loss Tapes', which is a podcast where Guvna B interviews people on their experiences of loss.

He has shared his views on national broadcast outlets such as BBC, Sky News, and Channel 4 and is determined to use his voice to impact change.

“My upbringing inspired me to want to make a positive impact through music. The negative things I saw around me inspired me to do better and inspire people to be the best they can
be instead of becoming stereotypical products of a negative environment” explains Guvna B.
